Seaside flat with fast WIFI

Awful stay at the Avondale flat Positive: It had a washing machine and tumble dryer. Negative: The room was dark and dingy. There was a terrible drain smell both in the room and outside with a sign saying to put zoflora down the drains! steps down to the property were dangerous. The handrail didn't stretch all the way down. The outside area was untidy. The whole flat needed a bit of tlc. The walls needed a coat of paint and new carpet. There wasn't a wardrobe just a cupboard with shelves and nowhere to hang your clothes. There were low hanging lights in the room which my husband being tall kept hitting his head off. The curtains were filthy. The bathroom had no rails to hold on to get into the bath/shower. All the fixtures and fittings weren't fit for purpose. The kitchen worktops were scratched and scored so deeply it was unhygienic looking. The step between the kitchen and bedroom was dangerous and there was hardly any room to get onto it as the freezer overlapped it.

Positive: Lovely apartment in a beautiful location Negative: If you're tall watch out for the chandeliers positioned directly above the seat and where you get out of bed! Lost a few brain cells getting up. Also was not clear flat 8 was not inside the main building door with the others, but was easily cleared up by a call to the host.
